2019 Having even more fun with our new Teardrop Camper
|
To start the year off we went to Rehoboth Beach Delaware and stayed at Holly Lake Campsites. 32087 Holly Lake Road Millsboro, DE 19966 1-800-227-7170 A very large campground set in the pine trees with 4 distinct sections. We were in the front area where there were mostly tent campers and some pretty nasty potholed roads to get thru. We had a nice site, not too close to any neighbors and had a nice view of the cornfields.
![]() The bathhouse near us was not in the cleanest condition when we got there, it was very muddy inside probably because it was right near a kids water park. Our suggestion would to clean that one more than once a day. There was also a large pool with a DJ that played on Sunday afternoon.
![]() The campground also had cabins, an animal compond with goats, deer, chickens and roosters, a mini golf course, a duck pond with an observatory deck, and a dog park.

Next trip was up to New Hampshire at the Northstar Campground 43 Coon Brook Road
Newport, NH 03773 (603) 863-4001 A great little campground surrounded by huge pines. Our site was a little cramped and very close to the neighbors, but these seemed to be the only ones like that in the campground.
![]() But we did have a beautiful creek running past the back of our site. ![]() Bath house was small but pretty clean and there wer some port-potties on the outer part of the camp that were also kept very clean. Overall a really nice place to stay, we will probably be back again.
