2023 trips that we took

Trip #1, Knoebels, The first of our trips this year was Knoebels. We did travel earlier this year, just not camping. This year they had a scavenger hunt to celebrate the Haunted House's 50th year aniversary. This was also a yearwhere the dogs were quite willing to be photographed.

Trip #2, We took a trip out to Sugarcreek Ohio with a 1 night stop over along the way. Woodland Campground in Woodland PA is about the halfway point for us on our tripto Sugarcreek. While this campground is not the typical type of campground that we normally stay at, it was a great place for us to stop and rest up on our journey. The grounds are neat and clean although the restrooms did have several toilets out of commission. The hosts were super nice and accomadating.

Our final destination was at Berlin RV Park Again, this is not the typical Campground that we stay at but we were traveling with a group who all had Class A campers. The campground was immaculate! Well kept and the sites were spaced out well. The restroom has to be the absolute best I have ever seen. The shower area is a private room along with a sink and ample room to change. We were there for the Ohio Swiss Fest where we had a great time. While in Sugarcreek we also toured NuCamp RV which is where our camper was born. This also was a good time and well worth it to visit. Sugarcreek is also the home to the worlds largest coo-coo clock, it was most impressive when it chimed, which happens every half hour. In addition to all of the great food (Wait on the line at Boyd and Wurthmann it is worth the wait!) we also went to The Farm at Walnut Creek where you can drive thru or take a wagon and feed the free range animals. There are also Amish houses to tour as well as a zoo.
