Meet Buford, the virtual camping coon hound.

Needed to purchase a few things, like a Surge protector, Scissor type wheel chocks, a new water filter as the one we had was ancient, and a TPMS. I got a Tymate TM2 from your favorite big online conglomerate, It cme with 4 sensors and all the hardware you will need to install it. So far it seems to be doing what it is supposed to. The install was simple and the sensors paired with the monitor without any issues. Will let you know how they work after our next trip.
I will also be looking into an RV GPS unit in the near future.
After testing the brake controller by pressing on the manual override and seeing it was reporting a short, I went to inspect all of the connections. I found that several of the wires had a break in the insulation right where it exited the harness.
I cut the wire back past the break and reconnected them, the problem still persisted and I followed the problem to one brake that was not woking. I decided that the trailer being 5 years old its probably time to replace the brakes so I orderd 4 new assemblies along with bearings from Etrailer and while I was at it, I also ordered Helper Springs for the truck to help level the load.
Installation is pretty easy as it is a simple replacement of the entire assembly. The 2 rear brakes went easy, the drums were not scoured or groved at all. The fronts were a different story as they were very groved due to the shoes starting to fall apart. Ordered 2 drums again from Etrailer Once they showed up I replaced both the brake shoe assembly and drums.
On our last trip of the year, the Dometic DM702 fridge decided it was done cooling.
RV Repair Woman on YouTube has an great video on how to diagnose Dometic fridge. Unfortunately all was well with all of those diagnostics. Which leaves it donw to the thermistor or the entire cooling unit. I will be replacing the thermister first as the resistance seems to be way out of specs. I will see if thats the problem otherwise I'm not totally sure what I will be doing. But no matter what I will let ya'll know here.
